The Town of Watertown Fire District is located in the State of New York, County of Jefferson, Town of Watertown, and was duly formed, in conjunction with, the Town of Watertown Fire Department, to provide fire protection for the Town of Watertown. Fire safety information & fire prevention.

The Town of Watertown Fire District and the Town of Watertown Fire Department were organized to protect and save lives, suppress and control fires, perform rescue operations at emergency situations, and perform such services as deemed in the best interest of the members and citizens of the Town of Watertown and surrounding areas. 

In performing these duties, it is the commitment of the Town of Watertown Fire Department and Fire District to provide the highest possible level of safety and health for all members and to operate in the safest possible manner. At no time will safety or health of the members be compromised.

The prevention and reduction of accidents, injuries and occupational illness, are the goal of the Fire District and the Fire Department and shall be primary consideration at all times. This concern for safety and health applies to all members of the Town of Watertown Fire Department and the Town of Watertown Board of Commissioners.
